Excuse Me, Mr. Terrorist, Are You OK?

Free Republic

There are those who conduct themselves with a clear penchant for humility, pragmatism, and those so-called leaders who yell “fire” in church because it’s the only way they can be saved. Mrs. Feinstein, I have neither the stomach nor the inclination to aid your vindictive campaign to politically exploit and berate our intelligence community, those patriots who tirelessly toil to protect ignorant and ungrateful hypocrites like yourself, so I instead would like to embark on a brief history lesson. Do you recall, Senator, when your accomplice and savior, Barack Obama, “spiked the football” and referenced (knighted) himself for the umpteenth time to somehow infer he was personally responsible for finding and killing Osama Bin Laden…the most wanted man in the world? “I ordered, solely my decision, at my discretion” were but a few of the pious declarations made at the expense of the true embodiment of courage and bravery, the U.S. Navy Seals.

If you may, Diane, by what sheer fortune or natural phenomenon do you actually believe this monumental task was accomplished? Please don’t tell us your progressive predilections actually presume that by offering evil an olive branch – three squares a day, a prayer mat and a warm cot – Islam’s most ardent zealots are going to inexplicably commit to peace and spill their most insidious secrets; their insatiable plans and desire to murder the infidel? As you callously silence the screams and conveniently misplace the names of your countrymen killed at Ground Zero, the Marine barracks in Lebanon, or those murdered aboard the USS Cole, it’s painfully obvious you have absolutely no recollection or appreciation for the perilous means, the exhaustive efforts, that were employed to identify Bin Laden’s operatives and thus locate his whereabouts in order to end his infamous reign of terror. For roughly a decade thousands of intelligence and military personnel risked life and limb to scour over every crumb of data, no matter how isolated or promising, in hopes of achieving one singular goal: saving American lives. Yet, standing on your predisposed Anti-American platform of derision and division, you have the gall to sabotage these ongoing efforts, damage our credibility and embolden our enemy by distorting the truth with your complete lack of perspective.

In honor of the non-dialectic movement known as liberalism, let us digress! Would a majority Americans stand opposed to predominately non-fatal interrogation methods that potentially protected thousands of lives, arguably another 9/11, or would they put their trust in those extremists – not your shameless Tea Party fabrications, mind you – who renew their vows daily to destroy Western Civilization; AKA, “We the People”? While the CIA waterboarded known terrorist elements, used solitary and psychological tactics to extract critical information, Islamic terrorists were busy beheading, brutalizing and raping women and children – both American and native nonbelievers. And guess which faction the good Senator and her inquisition chose to denounce, let alone recognize? What you call grotesque or a clear violation of international protocol pales in comparison to the atrocities committed by radical Islam…those whom Democrats and the U.N. continue to aid and abet with their dollars and indifference. You dare lecture America about protocol and principles when your constituents showed absolutely no regard for the victims of Benghazi; those left to die in the most inhumane manner – beaten, sodomized, and/or burned alive – because their government cared more about appeasing Muslim sentiment in the region than saving those who faithfully served their country? Has your fearless leader’s incorrigible standards “to stand down” also led your conscience to block all and any efforts to hold this administration accountable for their blatant breach of duty? Apparently so.

The enemy combatants you so empathetically embrace over the welfare of your own homeland are neither human or deserving of any protections whatsoever afforded by the Geneva Convention. As rogue merchants of death forged from an antiquated and malevolent religion, these captured militants are neither of a recognized army or fighting on behalf of a sovereign nation at war. However, because the radical left continues to distort the totality of our tactics and incessantly fights for detainees’ rights – providing legal representation and procuring inane agreements allowing these murderers to rejoin their bloodthirsty ranks – our intelligence community must once again defend its common sense efforts to safeguard this nation. Despite being privy to a glut of contradictory evidence detailing the countless terrorist threats thwarted by our intelligence agencies on a routine basis, perhaps Senator Feinstein and her merry band of antagonists would like to validate their sensational findings by living amongst their misunderstood Muslim brothers in Syria, Gaza, Egypt or Iraq. Something tells me when their apologetic appendages are left to rot in the desert of Islamic good will, just like the universally welcomed hostages of ISIS or al Qaeda, they’ll wish they’re partisan report was waterboarded by airport security and their flights cancelled in the name of self-preservation. Yes, in a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act. Some just need a refreshing glass of water to help them find the answers their contradictions are choking on.

Dem Rep: CIA Should Apologize for Actions Taken Against Terrorists in Aftermath of 9/11

The Washington Free Beacon

Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D., Calif.) told MSNBC’s Craig Melvin that the CIA should “absolutely” issue an apology after Tuesday’s release of the Senate Intelligence Committee report on CIA interrogation techniques.

Speier said she was “shocked” by the report and said “that is not what this country is about. We have got to shut this down.”

“Every single page had something in the executive summary that shocked me,” Speier said.

When asked if the CIA was likely to issue an apology, Speier seemed pessimistic and claimed the agency needed to do some “soul searching.”

“There’s an arrogance that exists within the CIA that has to be reigned in,” Speier said.

“I would certainly hope that they would recognize that with some soul searching, that they have got to come clean on this. “

Philly NAACP elects new North Philly Nation of Islam leader president

Free Republic

The Philadelphia chapter of the NAACP has elected a new president.

Minister Rodney Muhammad has led North Philadelphia’s Mosque Number 12 of the Nation of Islam for 23 years. He’s moving from first vice president to president of the local NAACP chapter.

In his new role, he said he would focus on bringing jobs to the city.

“Traditionally, we may have stood outside of somebody’s business and demanded that people of color have their fair share of jobs,” he said. “But I think today we got to think a little beyond that, and think about how to sit down with people and find ways to help create some of the jobs.”

Muhammad said public safety and gentrification were among his other main concerns.

“Segregation is not here shutting us out, but gentrification is here pushing us out,” he said. “We want to see a harmonious city and everything, but it’s not harmonious when people who are weak, vulnerable, voiceless, non-competitive and defenseless are just being pushed out of neighborhoods.”

Muhammad also said he wants to persuade more millennials to join the NAACP and hold forums aimed at improving the relationship between police officers and civilians.

Muhammad is replacing Jerry Mondesire, who was forced out by the national NAACP amid questions of fiscal mismanagement. Muhammad called the turn of events “unfortunate,” but he said Mondesire helped many people who were victims of discrimination.

Obama has no enumerated power to release GITMO prisoners, but here we go again!

Family Security Matters

by LTC ALLEN WEST (US ARMY RET)

Sure seems we’ve come to a point where the rule of law means little to the Obama administration – or the oath taken to faithfully execute our laws.

With that in mind, Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 of the United States Constitution, at times referred to as the War Powers Clause, vests in the Congress the power to declare war, in the following wording: “[The Congress shall have Power…] To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water.”

I searched Article II to see if there was anything to contradict these enumerated powers bestowed upon the U.S. Congress – and found nothing. Now, I can immediately draw your attention to President Obama’s ill-conceived venture into Libya – which we have addressed several times, most recently here discussing the involvement of ISIS there – and where was the “humanitarian crisis? I could also alert you to the fact that we are deploying troops back into Iraq, but there has been no declaration from Congress on war – and we are dropping bombs and folks are shooting – a basic definition of war, as far as I know.
