Arizona Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick is so patriotic she flew the Mexican flag on her float this weekend in the Eloy parade.

The Arizona GOP reported:
Today Robert Graham criticized Democrat Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick of Arizona’s CD 1 for flying the Flag of Mexico during her parade in Eloy, Arizona this morning.
“Arizona voters already know Kirkpatrick has been doing a poor job representing her constituents while she continues to support Obama’s failed policies, but flying the Flag of Mexico alone with no sign of the Flag of the United States is offensive and hurtful not just to our veterans but to every American,” said Robert Graham, Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party.
And he’s saying this after the Islamic State beheaded British citizen David Haines.
The Prime Minister has said that tragic news of the beheading of British citizen David Haines by ISIS terrorists will not prompt the United Kingdom into a knee-jerk reaction, though he promised to “destroy ISIL with an iron determination”. […]
He called the terrorist organisation – known as ISIS, ISIL, and the Islamic State – “the embodiment of evil” and claimed that the British government “will hunt down those responsible and bring them to justice no matter how long it takes”.
“The fact that an aid worker was taken… sums up what this organisation stands for,” he said.
“They are killing and slaughtering thousands of people… they boast of their brutality… they claim to do this in the name of Islam, that is nonsense, Islam is a religion of peace. They are not Muslims, they are monsters”.
Now that hard tyranny has temporarily given way to soft tyranny in the West, we don’t have to worry about gulags and concentration camps, at least for now. But that hardly means that we are free. Bill Whittle reports on Gang Green and the Government Staff Infection in the Empire of the Ecoweenies:
Liberals warned us back in the 60s that the issue is never the issue. So no one should be surprised that as Whittle correctly observes, environmentalism is not about the environment. What it is about is what excessive government is always about. George Orwell described it as a boot stamping on a human face.
