Has the Obama administration engineered a humanitarian crisis in order to advance progressive policies on illegal immigration? That’s the charge Glenn made in his opening monologue Monday night on TheBlaze, connecting the President’s stance on illegals and a series of alarming stories from the border that have raised a lot of questions.
Last week, Glenn reported on a spike in illegal immigrant children trying to cross the border. In fact, some reports claim that 60,000 children will attempt to cross the border this year alone. Border agents are overwhelmed and ill-equipped to process such a huge number of illegals, let alone teenagers and kids as young as nine years old.
President Obama came out and called this an “urgent humanitarian crisis” last Monday, and has requested an extra $1.4 billion – yes BILLION – in order to cope with the crisis. Meanwhile, over 700 kids are now being sheltered in a warehouse in Arizona.
It’s a tragic situation. No one – even the staunchest opponents to illegal immigration – want to see kids suffering in a makeshift shelter, missing their parents and longing for the better life promised by the American Dream.
But as the news cycle is dominated by the gut wrenching tragedy of the situation – no one is asking the important question: why the sudden influx of kids on the border? Why are they coming now?
The administration and the media are reporting that they are fleeing extreme poverty and rising violence – but hasn’t that been going on for years now?
Glenn noticed that in one news report from the LA Times there may be an answer: “Increased violence in Central America, the desire to reunify with parents and false rumors circulating in their homelands that unaccompanied children can stay indefinitely in the United States are fueling the surge, administration officials said.” (emphasis added)
A local report from KRGV gives further evidence that a local news station in Guatemala is telling mothers with kids will not be turned away at the border.
Bill Killian, a US attorney, claims that anti-Muslim speech violates Muslim’s Constitutional rights. Therefore, he argues, it should be illegal and punishable by law.
Killian said, “We need to educate people about Muslims and their civil rights, and as long as we’re here, they’re going to be protected.”
At this time, Obama’s DOJ is working to determine what, exactly, is considered illegal speech against Muslims. Guidelines and specific laws are expected to come soon. Currently, the government is not allowed to prevent speech that is hateful towards a religion, unless a specific threat is made. To prevent speech that is hostile towards a religion is a violation of the First Amendment. The government is allowed to urge people to not engage in such speech — it just cannot punish people for doing so.
If the DOJ does decide to make anti-Muslim speech punishable by law, it could mark the beginning of significantly increased government power.

The Daily Sheeple
As many who study the “war on terror” will agree, the apparatus implemented by the Federal Government to fight the phony war has been turned around on the American populace. Almost all large cities, and many smaller ones, have beefed up their armaments to ridiculous levels. Even the NY Times has noticed this phenomenon. Even the sparsely populated Flathead Valley, Montana is not immune from DHS intervention. With Kalispell, Montana being one of the hubs of the Liberty Movement, it comes as no surprise that DHS has set-up shop here.
In the interview below, I speak to an eyewitness who followed four of these vehicles through town. At one point, they were flanked by air support with a .50 caliber machine-gunner on back. Please take the time to comment on this article below if you live in the Flathead Valley and you have seen similar vehicles.

Since his release nine days ago, many have been wondering why Bowe Bergdahl has been so quiet! Latest reports say he hasn’t even spoken with his parents since being handed over by the Taliban!
Well, according to one caller allegedly familiar with the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Bergdahl’s silence is due to the fact that he has already been put under arrest!
On Monday’s show, “Richard from Saginaw”, called in and told Tom he understands that Bergdahl is expected to be charged with 11 counts — all related to his mysterious 2009 disappearance.
Richard said he worked with the JAG office for eight years before recently retiring and his “sources” claim Bergdahl will likely face desertion charges. If found guilty, Richard says Bergdahl could face 20 years in prison! Richard also said the investigation is still ongoing and believes that the former Taliban prisoner could even be executed for his actions.

PoliceOne Critical Alert
PoliceOne warns officers that people of middle eastern ethnicity are changing their names or presenting themselves as hispanics in order to disguise their ethnicity and better blend into their communities. While this has been common practice among immigrants in the past, it presents a technique that possible terrorists or members of sleeper cells could use to escape notice.
The Texas Department of Public Safety informed the San Antonio Division Joint Terrorism Task Force that individuals of Middle Eastern descent are obtaining new Texas driver’s licenses with Hispanic surnames.
Approximately 20 individuals of Middle Eastern origin are utilizing the Travis County (Austin, Texas) District Court each week to change their names and driver’s licenses from Middle Eastern to Hispanic surnames.
