It’s an Obama World… White House Asks Parents to Monitor Kids For Signs of Terrorism

The White House recently asked parents to monitor their kids for signs of terrorism but goes to great lengths to not tie any religion to acts of violence. That would be Islamophobic.
The Daily Caller reported:

In a speech earlier this week, Lisa O. Monaco, President Barack Obama’s assistant for homeland security and counterterrorism, insisted that American parents must be vigilant because their “confrontational” children could be on the verge of becoming terrorists.

Monaco’s full, prepared text is available here. She presented the speech, entitled “Countering Violent Extremism and the Power of Community,” at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on April 15.

Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings. Interestingly, the Harvard grad failed to mention the religion or the motive of brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the Muslim terrorists behind the Boston bombings.

In the very next paragraph, Monaco specifically noted racist and disgustingly anti-Semitic beliefs of Frazier Glenn Miller, the 73-year-old former Ku Klux Klan leader accused of gunning down three people at a Jewish Community Center in Kansas last Sunday…

Lisa O. Monaco lists a few warning signs for parents but goes out of her way not to mention Islam:

What kinds of behaviors are we talking about? For the most part, they’re not related directly to plotting attacks. They’re more subtle. For instance, parents might see sudden personality changes in their children at home—becoming confrontational. Religious leaders might notice unexpected clashes over ideological differences. Teachers might hear a student expressing an interest in traveling to a conflict zone overseas. Or friends might notice a new interest in watching or sharing violent material.

So what kind of religious leaders is she talking about? What conflict zone might she be sugggesting?

The depths of denial by this administration regarding radical Islam has gone from ridiculous to asinine. This administration’s avoidance of the truth is no longer humorous, it’s dangerous.

Obama Uses Easter Address to Remind Us That Islam Teaches Us to “Love Our Neighbors As We Love Ourselves”

Another bizarre Obama holiday address…
In his Easter Address this year Barack Obama reminds us that the great religions, including Islam, teach us to “love our neighbors as we love ourselves.”

…For me, and for countless other Christians, Holy Week and Easter are times for reflection and renewal. We remember the grace of an awesome God, who loves us so deeply that He gave us his only Son, so that we might live through Him. Democratic President Bill Clinton sent a handwritten note offering to work together with the chairman of a mosque that counted 9/11 hijackers as worshippers, senior al-Qaeda operative Anwar al-Awlaki as an imam, and an al-Qaeda conspirator and would-be George W. Bush assassin as a teacher and camp counselor.

Clinton sent a handwritten note on official stationery in March 2000 to the chairman of the board of the Dar Al-Hijrah Mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, in response to a letter from the chairman. Clinton’s note was released as part of a document dump Friday by the Clinton presidential library.

The note was marked “THE PRESIDENT HAS SEEN 3-10-00.”

“I’m interested in all these suggestions. Let’s follow up,” Clinton said in the note, in which he also said that it would be good to have support from Muslims. Clinton signed the note “Bill.”

The Dar Al-Hjrah Mosque was visited by FBI agents after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks after it was discovered that two 9/11 hijackers had worshipped at the mosque.

The mosque’s imam from 1995 to 1999, prior to Clinton’s note, was Mohammed Al Hanooti, who was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing by a U.S. attorney. Al Hanooti defended an acquaintance that was deported and indicted for arranging financial support for the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas.

This excellent report from Reason TV on the Gibson Guitar raid by DHS and the Fish and Wildlife Department explains a lot about the bureaucratic overreach involved.

‘They…come in with weapons, they seized a half-million dollars worth of property, they shut our factory down, and they have not charged us with anything,’ says Gibson Guitars CEO Henry Juszkiewicz, referring to the August 2011 raid on his Nashville.

Note the sneering, smirking Environmental Investigation Agency employee who counters the Gibson CEO’s claims. Insufferable.
