Christian School Drops the Name “Crusaders”

Moonbattery

For centuries, the Empire of Islam was expanded by lethal force at the expense largely of Christian lands. Not until Muslim forces entered the heartland of Europe were they stopped, at the very gates of Vienna. If they hadn’t been, European civilization would not exist, and the Western World would consist of savages treating women like dogs and worshiping a vicious child-molesting marauder.

Great civilizations like Egypt were lost forever in the Muslim conquests. Spain and Greece lived under Muslim rule for centuries. But there was a time when Christians, realizing that the best defense is a good offense, took the fight to the enemy: the Crusades.

Since 9/11, we have been asked to regard the Crusades with distaste. This is because liberal information gatekeepers have embraced hostile Islamic propaganda to advance their goal of turning us against ourselves. Anything we should take pride in, they will demand we be ashamed of. Consequently,

A Christian college in Wisconsin is dropping its “Crusaders” nickname after nearly 50 years, claiming the moniker has become outdated in a “more global society,” university officials told FoxNews.com.

Stay tuned for word on whether Iran will drop its support for Islamic terrorism due to our living in a “more global society.”

The name change was explicitly linked to the Muslim atrocities of September 11:

Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown and its Division III athletic teams have used the name since its founding in 1968. Matt Davis, the university’s executive vice president, said no complaints have been received by the school and stressed that it coincides with its name change from Maranatha Baptist College in December.

“But I also agree that times change and we understand that context changes,” Davis told FoxNews.com. “Our world has changed since 9/11 and we’ve become a more global society with the Internet.”

Fans of the New England Patriots be warned: if Redcoats ever fly a pair of jets into an office tower, the team will have to change its name to something less offensive.

Selecting the university’s next mascot will be a collaborative effort, Davis said, and the new name will be revealed during the spring semester.

Here’s a suggestion: why not the Maranatha Dhimmis?

Ibrahim Hooper of CAIR, a Hamas front group that serves Muslims the way the ACLU serves cultural Marxists, says “I welcome the spirit behind the change.”

Of course he does. Islam means submission.

One day these heroes may be deliberately forgotten too.

Exposed: Obama Family Part of Secret Muslim Terror Operation

Freedom Outpost

The Obama family’s legacy – although most today would not even consider saying it – will one day be etched in history books under the heading, “How a family of terrorists fooled America.” They have promoted Wahhabist interests in Saudi Arabia and were the greatest supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Sayyid Obama, Barack Obama, and Malik Obama.

Sayyid Obama, Barack Obama, and Malik Obama.

And now more damning evidence reveals the Hamas financing connections of President Obama’s brother, Malik Obama, adding further to what we previously disclosed. The Islamic Dawa Organization (IDO) Malik Obama helps lead as Executive Director, is a member organization of “The Union of Good” (UG), which the U.S. Treasury designated as “Terrorist.”

Islamic Group Once Tied To Terror Trial Received Thousands In Farm Subsidies, Without Growing Crops

Fox News

An Islamic organization once listed by the Justice Department as a co-conspirator in a high-profile terror case is among many groups that have received thousands in federal farm subsidies, without producing any crops.

The subsidies to the North American Islamic Trust are just a slice of the questionable payments that, as has been well documented, go to millionaires and non-farmers every year. But as Congress moves to rein in the program, these subsidies stand out considering the group’s involvement in the Holy Land Foundation case of 2008. During the trial, the group’s farm subsidies stopped, only to be reinstated after a federal judge cleared them.
