Gun control is the worst thing that could ever happen to a female, let alone a nation.  I can’t understand why so many women are against guns.  They must believe that if they are raped or beaten, a cop will suddenly appear…

Imagine if Obama was a Republican and the Senate was all GOP?  Can you hear the “Liberals”, screaming?  I can.  I would scream with them (Does not mean I would ever respect them or their ideology)  They hardly ever open their mouths about OBAMA because they are afraid that Obama’s Commie pigs will call them racists.  And, in America, racism is worse than murder.  Even though there are no laws if one is an inward racist.

Here we go, again with Obama and the Commies push for gun control.  Get more guns, get more ammo.

CIA and the President: The Warm Embrace of Mutual Incrimination

Andrew Sullivan is newly convinced — but surprised and confused — that President Obama is permitting John Brennan to hold up the release of the Senate Torture Report. It is becoming clearer and clearer that one major power-broker in Washington is resisting the release of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s allegedly devastating report on the torture program run by the Bush-Cheney CIA. That major power-broker is the Obama administration. You might be surprised by this, given the president’s opposition to torture and abolition of it. But the evidence is at this point irrefutable [snip] Brennan answers to the president, who has urged the release of the report.

So why the hold-up? That is the question. Why is Obama allowing Brennan to undermine Obama’s own position? Why is the president allowing the CIA to prevent the very transparency he once pledged to uphold?

I don’t know. But what I do know is that it is now Obama who is the main obstacle to releasing the Senate Report on Torture. Mind you, the evidence was pretty irrefutable back in May, too, and became more so in July. Moreover, I’m not sure Obama has “urged the release of the report” — though Joe Biden has.

The explanation for Obama’s silence on this report seems pretty obvious if you read both Stephen Preston’s answers to Mark Udall’s questions and Obama’s past actions on torture. In short: Torture was authorized by a Presidential Finding — a fact Obama has already gone to extraordinary lengths to hide CIA has implied that its actions got sanction from that Finding, not the shoddy OLC memos or even the limits placed in those memos, and so the only measure of legality is President Bush’s (and the Presidency generally) continued approval of them CIA helped the (Obama) White House withhold documents implicating the White House from the Senate (Sully does not note this fact, but Katherine Hawkins, whom Sully cited, did) With specific reference to documents potentially subject to a claim of executive privilege, as noted in the question, a small percentage of the total number of documents produced was set aside for further review.

The Agency has deferred to the White House and has not been substantively involved in subsequent discussions about the disposition of those documents. Indeed, I wonder whether the evidence in the Senate report showing CIA lied to the White House is not, in fact, cover for things some in the White House ordered CIA to do.

This is, I imagine, how Presidential Findings are supposed to work: by implicating both parties in outright crimes, it builds mutual complicity. And Obama’s claimed opposition to torture doesn’t offer him an out, because within days of his inauguration, CIA was killing civilians in Presidentially authorized drone strikes that clearly violate international law. Again, I think this is the way Presidential Findings are supposed to work: to implicate the President deeply enough to ensure he’ll protect the CIA for the crimes he asks it to commit. But it’s not the way a democracy is supposed to work. –

Representative Tom McClintock (R-CA) took to the floor of the House of  Representatives amidst the shutdown dealings to break down the debt crisis and  to point out Barack Obama’s agenda to destroy Republicans, Congress and the  Constitution, while gaining control of the American purse, usurping power as a  dictator.  He ended his remarks by stating that he believed that the salvation  of the nation would be the American people standing up against  un-constitutional  usurpations just as our veterans did last week.

“The debt limit exists for a simple reason,” McClintock began.  “(It’s) to  assure that public debt isn’t recklessly piled up without Congress periodically  acknowledging it and addressing the spending patterns that are causing it.  If  the debt increase is supposed to be automatic, as the president suggests, then  there’s really no purpose to it.”

McClintock then went on to point out the difference between Barack Obama and  his predecessors.

Janet Napolitano’s Homeland Security Replacement is a Constitution Killer

The entire Homeland Security apparatus is designed as much for suppression of the American people as it is for any perceived protection. Janet Napolitano’s reign included ushering in the notorious “See Something, Say Something” program which encouraged citizen spies and a system of Big Brother telescreens to tell us what to fear and when to fear it, as well as operating her personal domain like a tyrant for more than four years.

When Napolitano exited in July to become the President of The University of California, she made a couple of curious statements. The first was to warn of a major cyber attack:

The  left is highly organized in their assault against us. They craft the theme,  choose the language, and then they advance (usually with the media in tow). 

 We  have been called every name in the book. Most recently, the term “terrorists”  was selected as the flavor-of-the-month.

 

And  now, right on cue, Democrat Congressman Steve Cohen of Tennessee has invoked the  oath of office to protect against enemies of the state, both foreign and  domestic. Why? As you might have guessed, he has declared tea party conservatives to be “domestic  enemies” of the state.

 As  usual, the left accuses others of being the very thing they are. It’s easy to  translate their words. Just turn what  they say right back on them and/or measure 180 degrees from their assertion and  there you will likely find the truth. I’ve been doing it for so long that I now  consider myself to be bilingual.

 Oh,  and as a small bonus that provides additional insight into this man’s  brilliance, you have to love how part of his dismissal of new members of  Congress is the fact that they haven’t been in politics very long. Is that what  the founders had in mind? That one must be some kind of career politician first  before daring to run for office? And, once elected, to sit quietly in the corner  for some prescribed period of time before having the temerity to speak out? What  equine compost!

Palestinians Fly Nazi Flag Over Road Used By Jews…

For at least the second time in five months, Arab residents of Beit Umar in the Palestinian Authority (PA) have placed a Nazi flag over a major thoroughfare where Jews pass in their vehicles. Beit Umar is located between Halhoul and the Etzion Bloc, not far from Hevron.

Soldiers from the Haruv battalion in Kfir Regiment tried to take down the flag Saturday, but encountered difficulty because it was placed very high up.

A similar event took place at Beit Umar in May, when hundreds of residents of Gush Etzion who drove down Highway 60 were astounded to see an oversized Nazi flag flying next to a mosque in the Arab town.

In a recent key seech, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu quoted numerous historical sources showing that the leader of the Palestinian Arabs in the first half of the 20th century, Mufti Hajj Amin Al-Husseini, was “one of the initiators of the Holocaust of the Jews of Europe,” and that he was constantly encouraging the Nazi leadership to annihilate the Jews, throughout the war. He cited evidence that the Mufti even visited the gas chambers at Auschwitz with Adolf Eichmann.

“The Mufti is still a greatly admired figure in the Palestinian national movement,” said Netanyahu. “These are the weeds that need to be uprooted,” he said. “The root of the conflict is the deep resistance among a hard core of Palestinians to the right of the Jewish people to its own state in Israel.”
