Obama OKs illegals’ march on Mall, still blocks Americans

The National Park Service is allowing an Oct. 8 pro-immigration rally on the  national mall, even as it posts pickets and barriers to bar Americans from  visiting their open-air memorials.

“They’re going to be allowed to go [ahead] because it is a First Amendment  activity,” Shannon Maurer, a spokeswoman for the “March for Immigrant Dignity  and Respect,” told The Daily Caller.

“They allowed us to have it because it is part of the First Amendment of the  constitution,” said Susana Flores, a spokeswoman for CASA in Action, which is  organizing the rally. ”We’re going to have a stage and microphones,” plus a  stand for TV cameras, she said.

 

The mall is currently marked as closed, and law enforcement officials have  been deployed to picket open-air monuments to keep Americans off their own  land.

Critics quickly pounced on what they see as special treatment for the  administration’s allies.

“What this means is that the administration is sending a clear message that  it’s OK to barricade elderly veterans out of their memorials, but illegal  immigrants have to be accommodated no matter what,” Mark Krikorian, director of  the anti-immigration Center for Immigration Studies, told The Daily Caller.

“It’s hard to justify closing off open areas [such as the World War II  memorial], but to allow a major setup with equipment, electronics and security  in a closed area is a little outrageous,” said Krikorian.

Administration officials say a rewrite of the nation’s  immigration laws remains a very high priority. Analysts say a pending Senate  bill would double immigration and allow 33 million immigrants into the country  during the next decade.

Minnesota: The “Jihadist Pipeline” To Somalia

Today, it was confirmed that U.S. Navy SEAL Team Six carried out yesterday’s raid in Somalia, successfully killing the leader of the Islamic terrorist group al-Shabaab.  The Islamic militants were behind the 4-day long Kenyan Mall massacre that began on September 21st and took the lives of 69 people.  A death toll that’s still rising as they continue to dig through the rubble.

During the Nairobi massacre, it was reported that at least one of the terrorists was an American from Minnesota.  Many found this information shocking, but the Telegraph published a frightening article today revealing why it shouldn’t be surprising.  For some time, al-Shabaab has been heavily recruiting and radicalizing young Muslims in a state that is largely populated by Somali Muslims.  With 32,000 Somali-Americans, Minnesota has the largest population in the country, earning the name “Little Mogadishu.”  The FBI calls it the “Jihadist Pipeline” to Somalia.

Responsibility for the September 11 Benghazi assault and the deaths of four U.S. citizens — including Libyan ambassador Chris Stevens — lies personally at the feet of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa.

“The investigation really is now not about what we know, but about how we can prevent abuse of security before the fact, how we respond during the fact, and how we hold people accountable after the fact for deliberate misinformation — if you want to be kind — [and] outright lies, if not,” said Issa, who serves as head of the Oversight and Government reform committee.

Clinton recklessly pursued an ill-advised policy of “normalization” meant to make the U.S. look like it was winning the war on terror, dividing the State and Defense Departments. The rift between the two weakened cooperation — the full weight of assets that the U.S. could have deployed to help the Americans stranded in the consulate were not dispatched, since the State department did not want to involve military forces for the sake of appearances, Issa said.

“We know from Hillary Clinton on down there was a policy of normalization to make it appear as though we had won the war on terror,” Issa said. “I was in Libya just the other day, and one thing that I came back with was a strong opinion that that ‘stand down’ had everything to do with the fight between Department of State headed Hillary Clinton and the Defense Department, and that ultimately, State was willing to put their assets in, and did not want any military assets in, because they did not want to escalate what ultimately should have been escalated to a real rescue mission.”

Issa harshly criticized Clinton’s role in the U.S. response to the attack and took a dim view of her congressional testimony.

“Secretary Clinton famously said, ‘What difference does it make?’ It makes a difference whether or not you were leading an organization that cared about the people beforehand, did everything it could during the attack, and whether you told the truth afterwards. [I]n this case, she fails all three tests.”

Americans will soon have standing to destroy Obamacare

The American people can stop Obamacare. It will take some guts and some risk,  but we can shut it down tomorrow. Let me explain.

In National  Federation of Independent Business et al v. Sebelius, Secretary of Health  and Human Services, et al., the Supreme Court ruled the Patient Protection and  Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) penalties to be a tax, not a penalty. Chief  Justice Roberts was chastised for this action. It has always been my belief  that  Justice Roberts’s actions and opinion was brilliant and eventually history  would  vindicate his decision and his wisdom.

Roberts gave America a skillfully crafted opinion and the opportunity to shut  down the law. He also avoided having his court—a court that he will preside  over until he retires or dies—from being accused of legislating from the  bench; at least by liberals who were stoking the fires of discontent during the  US Supreme Court Obamacare hearings.

The U.S. Constitution’s Origination Clause (Art. I, Sec 7) require all tax  bills to originate in the House of Representatives. Obamacare or the Affordable  Care Act originated in the Senate making the laws tax unconstitutional. No  argument was made over the penalty provision of the law. Only that the laws  mandate was unconstitutional.

All bills for raising Revenue shall originate  in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or  concur with Amendments as on  other Bills.
