Pulitzer Prize Winning Journalist Says Osama Bin Laden Narrative is “One Big Lie, Not One word of it is True”

Freedom Outpost

Earlier this week The D.C. Clothesline featured an article titled Pentagon Orders Purge of Osama Bin Laden’s Death Files from Data  Bank by Professor Michel Chossudovsky of Global Research. Running articles  like that elicit the typical and predictable responses. A lot of people  question  the Osama Bin Laden narrative for many reasons, but some just accuse  us of  tabloid news and brush off The D.C. Clothesline as a blog that some  nutjob runs  from his home. Those same people will throw “Snopes” articles at me  on occasion,  which I find ironic since Snopes is run by a couple from their  home. What  kind of logic is that?

I am not the only truth seeking blogger to share in the frustration of  putting out important stories that are ignored. There is a continual  frustration  of digging up stories that need to be exposed by the mainstream  media and we  can’t even get the larger right-wing sources to pick up some of  the very  important stories. So when someone with a respected resume starts to  talk about  some of the same things we are, there is a natural feeling of  vindication.

Seymour Hersh won the Pulitzer Prize in 1970 for exposing the My Lai  Massacre. He is a 5-time winner of the prestigious Polk Award (1969, 1973,  1974,  1981, 2004). He also earned the George Orwell Award in 2004. In 2004 he  exposed  the mistreatment of prisoners of war by the U.S. Military at Abu Graib  prison.

This man has credentials. Perhaps his biggest credential is his obvious  willingness to go after democrats or republicans. He was once described by the Republican party as “the closest thing American  journalism has to a terrorist.”

So if this 7-time winner of major awards in the field of journalism, who has  shown no mercy to republicans in the past, shines light on the Bin Laden  narrative, perhaps we should listen.

There are too many things that don’t add up like the picture of the situation  room that has been judged in some circles to be a photoshopped fake, the deaths of so many of our American heroes who allegedy took place  in the Bin Laden raid, the unconventional “burial at sea,” and the fact  that  Reggie Love claims Obama was playing spades with him during the  raid.

Some things simply do not add up. Seymour Hersh has had enough of gutless  journalists and corrupt officials in D.C.

The Guardian reports:

He is angry about the timidity of journalists in America, their failure  to challenge the White House and be an unpopular messenger of  truth.

Don’t even get him started on the New York Times which, he says, spends “so  much more time carrying water for Obama than I ever thought they would” – or  the  death of Osama bin Laden. “Nothing’s been done about that story, it’s one  big  lie, not one word of it is true,” he says of the dramatic US Navy Seals  raid in  2011.

Hersh is writing a book about national security and has devoted a chapter to  the bin Laden killing. He says a recent report put out by an “independent”   Pakistani commission about life in the Abottabad compound in which Bin Laden was  holed up would not stand up to scrutiny. “The Pakistanis put out a report,  don’t  get me going on it. Let’s put it this way, it was done with considerable  American input. It’s a bullshit report,” he says hinting of revelations to come  in his book.

The Obama administration lies systematically, he claims, yet none of the  leviathans of American media, the TV networks or big print titles, challenge  him.

“It’s pathetic, they are more than obsequious, they are afraid to pick on  this guy [Obama],” he declares in an interview with the Guardian.

Have you ever noticed how many big American stories break in The Guardian,  The Daily News, The Telegraph and other British publications? Why is that?

It’s because Seymour Hersh is spot on. The American media is gutless.

I, for one, can not wait to read his book.

I’d highly suggest that you hop on over to The Guardian Article. You might learn something. I know I  did. You also might want to read Professor Chossudovsky’s piece about the Pentagon cover up that is now in play. Do you think they saw  Seymour Hersh coming?

Maybe so.

He is still what a journalist is supposed to be. He is feared by the  government because he is after the truth.

He may be very somewhat of a throwback in today’s political landscape but we  certainly could use more men like Seymour Hersh.

  1. Obama’s Big Ruse: Osama Bin Laden Died Years Ago!

Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.
    [Fox News. December 26, 2001]
NEW YORK (AP) – The killing of Osama bin Laden during a raid by Navy SEALs on his hideout in Pakistan was the top news story of 2011, followed by Japan‘s earthquake/tsunami/meltdown disaster, according toThe Associated Press‘ annual poll of U.S. editors and news directors.

New York Times Reported Bin Laden Dead In 2001

    Published: July 11, 2002
Osama bin Laden is dead. The news first came from sources in Afghanistan and Pakistan almost six months ago: the fugitive died in December 2001 and was buried in the mountains of southeast Afghanistan. Pakistan’s president, Pervez Musharraf, echoed the information. The remnants of Osama’s gang, however, have mostly stayed silent, either to keep Osama’s ghost alive or because they have no means of communication.
With an ego the size of Mount Everest, Osama bin Laden would not have, could not have, remained silent for so long if he were still alive. He always liked to take credit even for things he had nothing to do with. Would he remain silent for nine months and not trumpet his own survival?
Even if he is still in the world, bin Ladenism has left for good.Mr. bin Laden was the public face of a brand of politics that committed suicide in New York and Washington on Sept. 11, 2001, killing thousands of innocent people in the process. –New York Times

    • Remember, the truth is stranger than fiction because fiction has to make sense.

      • He had become to “full of himself” to the point that he didn’t care if we knew or not. After all, what were we going to do about it?
We have “a few”….very few people in D.C. who were/are still trying to stop him. Doing it the right way no longer works when they are in an evil environment (and YES, I do mean EVIL).

      • Anyone who disagrees with him is labeled a racist or worse………………a domestic terrorist. Not a Patriot. Stand up for the Constitution and you are a domestic terrorist, a right winger, a racist, ………………you know the drill.

      • I don’t know where to start.
I know politicians become greedy and corrupt. BUT! Never in my lifetime did I ever believe they would allow someone like Obama to continue day-by-day deliberately destroying our country.
He IS doing everything RIGHT to bring America to her knees; and the are not stopping him.
We have had a few to stand up but they can’t do it alone.

This was just before the signing of the NDAA. This ONE MAN, the Illinois Representative who stood up. Look at the faces of those he is talking to!
