Feds Impose Mandatory Event Data Recorders in All Cars
In the near future, no American will drive alone. Wherever we go, Big Brother will be right there beside us:
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration rule requires all light passenger vehicles be equipped with an EDR [event data recorder] by Sep.1, 2014. Ninety-six percent of new cars already have them — measuring such inputs as speed, lateral acceleration, pedal effort, seat belt use, wheel spin, steering wheel turn and direction.
Big Government may not be the only villain in this attack on the Fourth Amendment. According to Tom Kowalick, head of the design team that is standardizing EDRs, they can be used to roll back the odometer or change the vehicle identification number.
Kowalick points out that YouTube has hundreds of clips that demonstrate how to hack into automobile EDRs. “Look at the number of people who are making tools, electronic tools, to do these things. You’ll find hundreds of thousands of people who are already clicking onto these sites. And they must be doing that for some purpose,” he said.
Car theft could be in for a renaissance.
As always with ham-fisted government intrusion, unintended consequences reduce bureaucrats’ pernicious designs to the tip of an iceberg.

Obama to Sign UN Gun Treaty This Month – Will Lead to National Registry

Under the Tsar, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. That all changed when Stalin and the communists took control. Stalin was able to control, starve, punish and imprison a defenseless people… after he took their guns. (Zinnfigur)
But before Stalin could confiscate the guns he needed a national gun registry.
In April the United Nations passed sweeping legislation that will regulate the international arms trade and could lead to a national registry in the United States.
Barack Obama is reportedly going to sign the treaty this month while Congress is on vacation. Ammoland reported:
You heard it straight from the horse’s mouth. Jay Carney said Obama will sign the UN Arms Trade Treaty “before the end of August…We believe it’s in the interest of the United States.” This is very strategic timing considering Congress is on a 5 week vacation lasting thru the month of August!
These back door tactics are nothing new for the Obama Administration, which is why we are using tactics of our own to stop his anti-gun agenda. We have the home fax numbers of every Senator so while they are absent from the Capitol we can demand they must not ratify the UN Gun Treaty once Obama signs it.
We CAN stop this international treaty from reaching American soil by killing it the United States Senate. The U.S Senate must ratify an international treaty for it to be effective. They would need 67 votes to ratify the treaty. Reach every U.S. Senator at their home office; tell them you do not want this treaty in OUR United States!

Everything Obama tackles in office is strategically timed and politically motivated. He only looks out for himself, his fellow liberals, and his anti-gun agenda. After mass shootings the Administration would launch all-out attacks on our gun rights since the country would be more susceptible to change after a traumatic event. He made sure the Benghazi cover up was swept under the rug until he got re-elected. He will wait to attack certain issues until the 2014 Congressional elections so he’ll know how many liberals are by his side.
Obama believes now is the best time to sign the UN Gun Treaty since Congress is out of Washington. He will have less scrutiny to worry about if Congress is not nearby.
In a January 4, 2013 Justice Department document, Summary of Select Firearm Violence Prevention Strategies, the Obama Administration admitted that an assault weapons ban would not be effective without confiscation and gun registration. 
It should be clear by now that this administration has little to no regard for the Second Amendment of the US Constitution.

Syrian president Bashar el Assad, Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah of Lebanon are fully responsible for the death of United States Ambassador Christopher Stevens. President Obama has known this fact since the minute he first learned about the attack.
Stevens, from his Benghazi base, was stockpiling weapons – and resourcing the expert fighters who could use them – to topple Assad’s rule in Syria. On September 11, 2012, Assad powerfully punched back, raiding the Benghazi compound which housed the armament for his own destruction. Though Assad’s reprisal resulted in the loss of four American lives, including Stevens, he forcefully conveyed that he would not be thrown out of the ring.
The Syrian uprising is not a simple “the good guys vs. the bad guys” action-packed conflict. While there is plenty of action, there are no good guys. There are, however, two opponents who have been duking it out for hundreds of years, the Sunnis and the Shiites. In the Sunni corner, we have U.S. President Barack Obama, championed primarily by Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt. Their combatants, the Shiites, include Syria, Iran, and Hezbollah – the Lebanese militia controlled by Iran and Syria.
Under President Barack Obama’s direction in the 2011 Arab Spring, the Sunnis had already ousted evil dictators from countries such as Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya. It appeared to be pro-democracy freedom-fighting at its finest. It wasn’t. The overthrown governments were quickly replaced with Muslim-Brotherhood-aligned, Sunni Islamic theocracies. And the next country on the list for overthrow was Syria. But unlike the easier targets of Mubarek, Ben Ali, and Gaddafi, Shiite Syrian leader Bashar Assad has the powerful allies of Iran, Hezbollah, and Russia.
The Assad regime was fully aware of the shrouded activity in Benghazi, fully aware that Ambassador Christopher Stevens, the man credited for the assassination of Gaddafi, was much more than an ambassador. Though serving in Tripoli as the U.S. Ambassador to transition a tribal Libya to Sunni Islamic rule, Stevens covertly used Benghazi as his base of operation for the next phase of Arab Spring: overthrowing Assad in Syria. From his Benghazi compound Stevens stored and supplied weapons for thousands of hired, rebel fighters – many of which were al-Qaeda – headed to Syria.
