“Ideally, handguns, which account for more than half of all homicides in the United States, should be banned completely, but we recognize that this is not currently politically feasible,” wrote Dr. Karl P. Adler in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).

For years, the confiscationist left have fought a losing battle in their attempt to repeal the rights of 100 million American gun owners. Even with the benefit of what dedicated gun grabbers undoubtedly considered a God-send–the brutal murder of 20 children in Newtown, Conn.–the right to keep and bear arms has been so jealously guarded, and the intentions of gun control advocates so mistrusted that no significant legislation could be passed.

For this reason, Barack Obama has decided to remove 2nd Amendment rights from the realm of politics and constitutional guarantee by transforming the question of gun violence into an issue of public health.

Here’s a thought experiment: Imagine a Mayor Anthony Weiner consoling someone’s teenage daughter with a hug after the next 9/11. Problem? Okay, maybe Comptroller Spitzer will do it.

Not only are these men sleazy hypocrites in their politics, they are deeply misogynistic in their behavior — and yet the soi-disant “progressive” crew of female politicians (Hillary Clinton, Kirsten Gillibrand, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Elizabeth Warren, et al.) are strangely silent.

Where is the true “War on Women” and who’s waging it? Think this one through, my “liberal” friends.

I guess as long as these guys vote for free government condoms, everything’s okay.

Of course, it’s not. These people have shown themselves to be absolutely repellent liars (and, as I noted, misogynists) unworthy of any sort of public trust on any subject.

The Name Of Jesus Has Become A Dirty Word In Politically Correct America

In the United States today, there are very few words that provoke as much outrage as the name of Jesus.  It is being banned from graduation ceremonies, chaplains all over America are being forbidden from using His name in their prayers, and many school officials all over the nation have become absolutely fanatical about eliminating every trace of Christian expression from their schools.  One elementary school in North Carolina even ordered a little six-year-old girl to remove the word “God” from a poem that she had written to honor her grandfathers.  Political correctness is spreading like a cancer in this country, and our “freedom of religion” is rapidly being transformed into a guarantee of “freedom from religion” for those that hate the Christian faith.

Without a doubt, there is a war on the Christian faith in America today.  It is being waged in classrooms, courtrooms and churches all over the nation.

Obama Celebrates Ramadan: ‘Islam Has Contributed To The Character’ Of US

President Obama late Thursday celebrated Ramadan with a traditional dinner in the State Dining Room, saying that throughout the nation’s history, “Islam has contributed to the character of our country.”

In remarks before the Iftar dinner, eaten by Muslims after sunset to end the day of fasting, Obama quoted from the Koran, according to a White House pool report. “As the Koran teaches, whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see its results.”

“Muslim-Americans and their good works have helped to build our nation, and we’ve seen the results,” he added.

Obama, who has hosted five Iftar dinners, focused on entrepreneurship during much of his speech.
