The Egyptian People’s Message For America: “Obama Supports Terrorism”

I am not sure when the people of Egypt became more worldly than the people  here in America but it would seem they have it figured out. Betsy Hiel tweeted a  picture of a banner that has been hoisted in Tahrir Square that reads “Obama  Supports Terrorism” in both English and Arabic. The banner has been placed in  preparation for Sunday’s scheduled protests against Mohamed Morsi and The Muslim  Brotherhood.

In a related story this week, an Egyptian politician claims that our  Ambassador to Egypt is part of a Muslim Brotherhood “sleeper cell.” Raymond Ibrahim reports for Jihadwatch:

Obama Readies US Marines to Assist in Egypt… But Wouldn’t Send US Marines to Benghazi

The Obama Administration put the US Marines were on alert in southern Europe today as a precaution in advance of massive protests expected in Egypt.

But the Obama Administration wouldn’t send US Marines in Europe to assist the US Ambassador in Benghazi on 9-11. Four Americans were killed in the Benghazi terrorist attacks on 9-11 including the US ambassador.

CNN reported:

U.S. Marines stationed in southern Europe have been put on alert as a precaution in advance of expected large demonstrations and potential unrest in Egypt this weekend, CNN has learned.

About 200 combat capable Marines in Sigonella, Italy, and Moron, Spain, have been told to be ready to be airborne within 60 minutes of getting orders to deploy, according to two administration officials.

The units have several V-22 tilt-rotor aircraft that would carry troops and infantry weapons to Egypt to protect the U.S. Embassy and American government personnel and citizens if violence broke out against Americans.

The planned demonstrations are aimed against the Egyptian government.

The officials both emphasized this is contingency planning in advance of the expected demonstrations to ensure American military assets, including rescue forces, can act if needed. In the event Americans had to be evacuated from Egypt and could not get to the airport due to the unrest, there are about 2,000 additional Marines on board three Navy warships in the Red Sea, officials said.

A third official said the decision to keep the warship in the Red Sea was “very precautionary.”

The United States expects Egyptian security forces will be able to protect American assets and personnel. No plans for personnel to leave have been announced, State Department spokesman Patrick Ventrell said Friday.

You just can’t make this stuff up.

Forget Paula Deen. There are far more dangerous bigots and poisonous haters  spoiling the American landscape. They cook up violent rhetoric and murderous  plots against our troops, our citizens and our allies 24/7. And they have direct  access to the White House.

Earlier this week, the indefatigable Investigative Project on Terrorism blew  the whistle on the Obama administration’s latest flirtation with Muslim jihad.  Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah bragged on his website that he had met with Team  Obama on June 13. IPT reported that bin Bayyah was invited by National Security  Council official Gayle Smith “to learn from you and we need to be looking for  new mechanisms to communicate with you and the Association of Muslim  Scholars.”

Someone associated with bin Bayyah deleted his website reference to the  meeting, but the Internet is forever. The White House has now ‘fessed up to the  confab. According to Fox News, a senior official spun the troubling event as a  discussion about “poverty, global health efforts and bin Bayyah’s own efforts to  speak out against al-Qaida.”
