The 2nd Amendment protects our bullets in its first half of the amendment, “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state,..”. Well regulated meaning well practiced, well run, well drilled, able to shoot well and accurate from shooting practice, etc. To achieve this, the abundance of bullets and the ease to obtain them inexpensively is necessary and certain. To the California legislature and all other government bodies and agents, obstruction of the free, simple, and inexpensive access to a plentiful supply of ammunition by the militia or the people is a violation of the Constitution and your sworn oaths. I felt it necessary to write this since I just don’t hear anyone making this point or defending our bullets via the 2nd amendment.
