Michelle Obama to Give Award to Woman who said, “Today is the anniversary of 9/11. May every year come with America burning”

There are two reliable things you can count on about the Secretary of State’s  International Women of Courage Award.

1. The awardees will mostly be Muslim women… because no other women  anywhere else are courageous.

2. Some of the courageous awardees will support terrorism.

That  has been true in the past and it’s still true now.

On Friday March 8, Michelle Obama will join John Kerry at  a special  ceremony at the State Department to present ten women the  Secretary of State’s  International Women of Courage Award.

Samira Ibrahim, as the State Department’s profile describes her, “was   among seven women subjected by the Egyptian military to forced  virginity tests  in March 2011.” The press release further notes that  Samira “was arrested while  in high school for writing a paper that  criticized Arab leaders’ insincere  support to the Palestinian cause.”

It’s telling that the State Department considers the latter to be a reason  for handing out an award.

It Matters Not Where Obama Was Born!

The Bush Administration Answered Rand Paul’s Question About Killing Americans On US Soil

Business Insider

Rand  Paul filibustered the Senate confirmation vote of CIA Director nominee John  Brennan for nearly  13 hours to get the White House to answer one question: “Do you  believe that the president has the power to authorize lethal force, such as a  drone strike, against a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil and without trial?”

The Republican Senator from Kentucky said “it should have been an easy answer  … It should have been a resounding and unequivocal, ‘No,'” Paul said. “The  president’s response? He hasn’t killed anyone yet. We’re supposed to be  comforted by that.”

The slow slide into dictatorship

A few months back Fox News’ Alan Colmes commented to the effect that anyone who sees a parallel between pre-WWII Germany and Obama’s America is in dire need of psychiatric help. Most people (and I think Alan Colmes in particular) don’t understand that Hitler’s rise to power came at the behest of German voters, who were swayed by the scapegoating and blaming of Germany’s problems on Jews and duplicitous Communists. Hitler’s rise to absolute power came about quite legally through a series of laws passed through the Reichstag, Germany’s then parliament. Ultimately those laws established the National Socialist (NAZI) party (note the word “socialist”) as the only legal political party in Germany by 1934.

Many writers today are loath to make a comparison to the rise of Hitler’s Power in comparison to the rise in Barack Obama’s power because they claim it is “extreme” or “trite.” Be that as it may, there are some definite parallels between the rise of Hitler and that of Obama. Both were rabble-rousers, both were socialists, both had extensive political support from voters as well as big businesses and yes, both were demagogues. In addition, both were also in perpetual campaign mode.

Oh yes, and both assumed increased dictatorial powers over time.
