Obama and Democrats’ Unprecedented Attack against American People and the Obama Summit

For the first time since the loyalists to King George III and the British army moved against the American colonists and patriots, the US government is moving en masse to both stop and silence any opposition from the American people to Obama and any and all of his and his Marxist-Democrats.

While watching Thursday’s faux Obama-organized Health Care Summit (planned as a day of photo-ops and sound-bites for Obama‘s 2012 campaign), it became clear to me and others that the Democrat leadership had and have no intention of listening to sound arguments against the ObamaCare Death Plan, Cap & Trade or any of the other ulterior-motive clandestine procedures they have planned against We-the-People.

Instead, Harry Reid had already announced the day before—Wednesday—that he and the Dems would affect reconciliation (the “ramming and shoving” process), probably next week, in the Senate in order to force the despotic ObamaCare Death Plan onto us. Note: Reconciliation—incorporating a simple and not a super majority—is supposed to be used for budgetary items.

In fact, this Obama “summit” quickly degraded and devolved into Obama shutting down any and all Republican who offered alternate proposals and opposing comments while Democrats engaged in ongoing “kiss the tyrant” moments. In fact, Obama told Republicans that he could speak as long as he wanted because…“I’m the president!” Apparently, the rest of the Democrat leadership believed the same about their own self-inflated self-importance as comment-time from the far-left was twice as long as comments from the right. Note: That’s also “right” as in “correct.”

During Thursday’s Health Care Summit, I viewed the patently totalitarian Marxist-Democrat Party telling We-the-People that we no longer matter to them. Our voices are—once and for all per the Democrats—of no further importance. Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV), Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Dictator-in-Chief Obama made it crystal clear that the American people WILL accept whatever draconian plans they force upon them—and like it—or else. Each and every time the questioning and contradictions from the right to false statements made by the dictator-in-chief became too uncomfortable for his fragile ego’ or simply presented the truth in too bright a light, Obama shut down the questioner with reprimands similar to ‘you’re off of the subject’ or ‘stop your talking points’ or ‘the campaign is over and I won’.

During much of the time Representative Eric Cantor (R-VA) was quoting directly from one of the voluminous Democrat ObamaCare plans, Obama refused to make eye contact with him and, with increasingly tightly-pursed lips, started shuffling through some of the papers in front of him. Note: This was a Judge Judy moment. Whenever this happens on her television show, Judge Judy Sheindlin says sternly to the offender: “Put down your papers and look at me!” Wish she’d been there.

As long as any of the Marxist-Democrat Party members are in power, their abuses of said power will continue to escalate. This is what despots do. When asked at the ObamaSummit if the Democrat leadership was even listening to the American people, the response was either silence or a quick change of the subject.

Not since the first American Revolution War officially began in 1775 has the oppression against We-the-People from an opposition government been so intense and so relentless. Now, for the first time in our history, the majority leadership within the US Government is moving against its own people with increasing alacrity, force and determination. They have told us and continue to shout to us in myriad ways that they will refuse to listen to anything we say unless it is to thank them (our new “masters”) for placing us into bondage and slavery.

Despite increasingly overwhelming opposition from the American people to Obama’s and the Democrats’ Orwellian plans for us, they are moving even faster and harder to oppress us and shut us up. This is how tyrannies are formed, folks. And we are now firmly smack-dab-in-the-middle of our own.

Hawaii gets persistent requests for Obama birth certificate

Tips to Hepsy

Honolulu Advertiser

More than a year after his historic election, requests for President Obama’s birth certificate continue to pour into the state’s understaffed Health Department from people on the Mainland who refuse to believe he was born in Honolulu in 1961.

In an attempt to stem the flow of requests, the agency recently set up a special page on its Web site devoted to the issue of Obama’s birth certificate and who is eligible to get the records.

But the requests for the president’s birth certificate keeping coming at a rate of 40 to 50 a month, according to Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo, who has been handling the requests since Obama became a serious presidential candidate in 2008.

“They’re spurred on by these ‘birther’ blogs who direct them to bombard the Health Department even though they have no legitimate right to the information,” Okubo said.

“They’ve been misled to believe that the state of Hawai’i gives out birth information to anyone who requests it, but really our law protects birth information. We’re entrusted with protecting people’s vital records. To open them up would mean opening them up to identity theft and other types of concerns.”

State law allows birth certificates to be issued to family members, legal guard- ians, representatives of a person’s estate, or by court order or other legal purposes.

Okubo said those who have been requesting Obama’s birth certificate don’t meet the legal standards.

hypocrisy claims

Rick Newbold, a defense contractor from North Carolina now working in Iraq, asked the Health Department and the White House for Obama’s birth records, in part, because Newbold believes it’s “hypocritical of the president to proclaim that his administration is transparent when it obviously is not,” he wrote in an e-mail to The Advertiser.

“My interest in discovering and defending the truth about our chief executive is to maintain the integrity of the office of the president and to protect our republic from subversion, especially from foreign powers. America is in decline as a result of the globalist mindset and monied interests who seek to destroy America and integrate it into a global system of governance and taxation.”

The continuing issue over Obama’s birthplace — and, therefore, his eligibility to serve as president of the United States — has led state Sen. Will Espero, D-20th, (‘Ewa Beach, Waipahu) to introduce two bills this session on different sides of the issue.

Senate Bill 2056 would open up Hawai’i birth records under strict conditions to people who currently have no legitimate right to see them. Senate Bill 2937 would allow state agencies to label people who persistently “abuse” the public information process as “vexatious requestors,” which would allow state officials to deny their requests for documents.

Espero does not necessarily believe that everyone should see birth certificates that are now restricted, but said he wrote the bills to trigger legislative hearings to discuss the issue.

“It’s all because of the noise about the president not being born here,” Espero said.

“I believe he’s born here. Most of Hawai’i believes he’s born here and it’s not an issue here as it is with these Mainland birthers. It probably would not end all of the controversy because I believe the people that are these birthers have some other motives. Whatever you say or provide to these people, they will not be happy with anything.”

State Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino — a Republican — tried to put the issue of Obama’s Honolulu birth to rest back in 2008 by declaring that she and Hawai’i’s registrar of vital statistics had personally seen Obama’s birth certificate.

“This has gotten ridiculous,” Fukino told The Advertiser at the time. “There are plenty of other, important things to focus on, like the economy, taxes, energy. … We need to get some work done.”

Shrinking staff

The Health Department’s vital records division deals with about 1,000 new birth, death and marriage records every week, even as staffers are required to take two mandatory unpaid furlough days off each month. Four people in the office also recently lost their jobs because of budget cuts.

So the task of responding to requests for Obama’s birth certificate has fallen to Okubo, who until January had been spending 10-hour days primarily dealing with the H1N1 “swine flu” pandemic.

“I’m getting 40 to 50 requests every month for President Obama’s birth certificate, all of them from the Mainland — Arizona, South Carolina, Florida,” Okubo said. “None are from Hawai’i.”

Attorney Jeff Portnoy, who represents The Advertiser, has made a career out of fighting for public access to government records and believes that county and state officials need to be more open about what they do.

“On paper, the present state laws regarding access are very impressive, both philosophically and technically, in talking about that in a democracy, the public should have access to the workings of government,” Portnoy said. “Practically, the interpretation of those laws leaves a lot to be desired.”

The reality, Portnoy said, is that “Hawai’i has a significant reputation as being a hostile place to obtain records and access and, frankly, a history of executive and legislative leaders who have been fairly hostile, either through their attorney general or corporation counsels or the bureaucracy itself.”

Portnoy understands the desire among some people to see Obama’s birth records, but he does not put their requests in the same category as seeking openness to government dealings, such as details of public works projects or private meetings among officials to decide who will chair city councils, commissions and boards.

“That’s the people’s business,” Portnoy said. “We’ve never brought an action to get somebody’s Social Security number and there are legitimate reasons to keep birth records private. Identity theft is a legitimate, serious issue.”

follow-up requests

The majority of the people who e-mail or send letters to Okubo asking for Obama’s birth certificate do not challenge her response once she tells them they have no legal right to the information, she said.

But about a dozen people continue to hammer Okubo with follow-up requests.

“They want all of the organizational charts for our Office of Health Status Monitoring that handles vital records and for our health informations systems, our IT office,” Okubo said. “They request from me every single communication or every single document or request every record available related to President Obama’s vital records.”

Okubo readily acknowledges that she hasn’t always been able to reply to a request within 10 working days as required under Hawai’i’s Uniform Information Practices Act, the state’s version of the federal Freedom of Information Act.

But she adamantly disagrees with the “birthers’ ” interpretation of Hawai’i law.

“They usually say that by not giving out his birth certificate we’re breaking the law,” Okubo said.

“But we would be breaking the law by giving out a birth certificate to someone who does not have a right to it.”

When Okubo told one writer they did not have a right to Obama’s birth certificate because they were not related to the president, the person wrote back saying they, indeed, had a common ancestor.

“They said they have a tangible right to his birth certificate because they’re descended from Adam,” Okubo said, referring to the biblical figure. “We told them they need to provide some type of legal documentation.”

CNN Poll: Majority says government a threat to citizens’ rights

Fifty-six percent of Americans say the government poses an immediate threat to individual rights and freedoms.

Washington (CNN) – A majority of Americans think the federal government poses a threat to rights of Americans, according to a new national poll.

Fifty-six percent of people questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Friday say they think the federal government’s become so large and powerful that it poses an immediate threat to the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens. Forty-four percent of those polled disagree.

The survey indicates a partisan divide on the question: only 37 percent of Democrats, 63 percent of Independents and nearly 7 in 10 Republicans say the federal government poses a threat to the rights of Americans.

According to CNN poll numbers released Sunday, Americans overwhelmingly think that the U.S. government is broken – though the public overwhelmingly holds out hope that what’s broken can be fixed.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll was conducted February 12-15, with 1,023 adult Americans questioned by telephone. The survey’s sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points for the overall survey.

obama Gives America the Finger

Atlas Shrugs

What a punk. How does this President of the United States handle a challenge? He gives you the finger.

Ofinger

Finger red

Today’s piece of cheap theater orchestrated by the boulevardier-in-chief was his feeble attempt at bipartisanship. The fraud and his goons spent the year behind closed doors and attempted to ram this poison down our throats, but Americans woke up (thanks to L-Dopa) and fought back. Despite the pathetic attempt to paint the Republicans in a bad light (he finally agrees to an audience with Republicans but it has to be shot live), it was he and his quislings who looked small and untrustworthy. This little circus was very telling. Watching O look down his nose, literally, at the earnest congressman gathered, caught Obama in a very ugly light. His condescension was as obvious as his middle finger.

He loves the drone of his own voice, and we were forced to sit through more verbal diarrhea than any long practicing proctologist should have to stand, but for me the money shot was when President STFU responded like the Chicagoland gangster that he is  to the reasoned argument of Paul Ryan.

According to Senate Republicans, President Obama spoke for 119 minutes, other Democrats for 114 minutes, and Congressional Republicans for 110 minutes. Republicans came armed with facts, the Democrats came with folksy, anecdotal stories. These guys should be writing scripts for Lifetime television.

Complete Story:

Our Resident in Chief

The Obama File

I couldn’t help but notice that recently at the National Prayer Breakfast Mr. Obama made the following statement and I quote, “Now, I am the first to confess I am not always right.  Michelle will testify to that.  But surely you can question my policies without questioning my faith, or, for that matter, my citizenship.”

Next, today at what was billed as The Bipartisan Health Care Summit, at approximately one half hour before it ended, Mr. Obama made the following statement, and once again I quote, “We protect people with respect to the food they buy, with respect to the drugs that they purchase.  We license and regulate the medical profession because we don’t think just anybody should be able to cut somebody open.  We want somebody like Tom or John to know what they are doing before they start practicing medicine and the same should apply when we think about insurance.”

I find it resoundingly ironic that doctors have to stringently prove their eligibility and yet we are not allowed to question Mr. Obama’s eligibility to occupy the highest office in the land.  The fact is that we the people want somebody like Barack or John too meet the constitutional requirements to lead this great nation and to stop fast dancing around the subject, as well as spending approaching two million dollars to hide what he should have had to produce before he could be elected.  This, according to Mr. Obama’s way of thinking, would be like finding out after the botched surgery that the doctor was not licensed.

The fact is that we the people do indeed have the right to question not only his policies, his faith and his citizenship, we also have the right to question anything else about him that we feel necessary, because he, providing he is proved to be eligible, works for us and not the other way around, like he seems to believe.  So get used to it, because the questions are not going to go away until the proof and the truth are uncovered, and you can rest assured it will happen, it always does.
