Nations in the Middle East, some of whom were once allies of the U.S., appear to be defying America. This is very evident when reviewing the events over the past six months in Libya, Syria, Egypt, and Iraq, and also among the Palestinians. As former Vice President Dick Cheney stated, “our allies no longer trust us, or have confidence in us, and our adversaries no longer fear us.” The problem is also that America’s allies in the region are dwindling while its adversaries are increasing.

Unimaginable Treason at the Highest Levels of US Governance.
by Tony Cartalucci March 9, 2012 -
In an unbelievable act of high treason and overt criminality, the US State Department, headed by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has finalized arrangements to move the US State Department-listed foreign terror organization, Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK), into the former US military base “Camp Liberty’ in Iraq.
Effectively turning the camp into a living monument of desecration to the memories of 6,000+ US troops killed over the last 10 years of the fraudulent “War on Terror,” the US State Department is also appropriating US taxpayers’ money to make upgrades to the camp to accommodate the terrorist organization. In Foreign Policy Magazine’s article, “Are the MEK’s U.S. friends its worst enemies?,” it is indicated that up to 3,000 terrorists are expected to move into the new site with the first two convoys already arriving at the camp over the last month.
Image: Rudy Giuliani consorting with MEK’s political wing leader Maryam Rajavi in Paris, France. Giuliani is best known for his role playing a strong supporter for the “War on Terror” and his incessant fear mongering verses “Islamic extremists.” In real life, he coddles listed terrorist organizations in direct violation of US law and even lobbies for them.

(Telegraph) — An al-Qaeda militant has been killed together with his two children when a car bomb he was making at his home exploded near the northern Iraq city of Kirkuk, police said.

“An al-Qaeda terrorist, Mohammed Nussayef Jasim al-Hamdani, was killed while trying to fit a bomb inside a vehicle at his home,” a police official in Kirkuk said today.
As part of the effort in Iraq, the US stepped up its acceptance of refugees from the country over the last several years. The main concern was for those Iraqis who worked with the US, whose lives would have been in danger had they remained, but apparently at least a couple of those playing for the other side managed to get in as well. Federal authorities took two of those refugees living in Kentucky into custody yesterday for their attempts to assist al-Qaeda in terrorism against the US, and one of the suspects has been linked by fingerprints to an unexploded IED in Iraq:
The anti-war movement was all over the news before President Obama was elected. But apparently they weren’t really anti-war … they were just anti-President Bush. Two college professors just released a study of national protests between 2007 and 2009. What did they find?
… After January 2007, the attendance at antiwar rallies [measured in] roughly the tens of thousands, or thousands, through the end of 2008.
… After the election of Barack Obama as president, the order of magnitude of antiwar protests dropped [...] Organizers were hard pressed to stage a rally with participation in the thousands, or even in the hundreds. For example, we counted exactly 107 participants at a Chicago rally on October 7, 2009.
Amazing. Especially because the war in Afghanistan ramped up after Obama was elected. American fatalities shot up in 2009 and 2010.
The protesters have remained silent over Libya.
And I’m struck by the hypocrisy of the supposedly “anti-war” politicians who voted against Iraq, like Nancy Pelosi. Since Obama was elected, she has voted to continue the war in Afghanistan … and supported the attack on Libya.
Only a handful of Congressmen have remained principled on foreign intervention. One of them is Ron Paul. On my FBN show this week, I’ll talk with him about why he opposes our “aggressive foreign policy.” Thursday at 10pm EST.

Now we know. After years of telling us otherwise, the FBI–in its own words, on its own previously classified memo–knew the the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City was likely the work and planning of Islamic terrorists, not just Timothy McVeigh.
It’s important because it confirms the tireless, ridiculed scoops and hard work by Oklahoma City TV reporter and journalist, Jayna Davis, who for years made the case that the bombing was the work of Iraqi intelligence. It’s also important because, for years, the CAIR Action Network and other Muslim groups constantly point to that bombing as evidence that major terrorist attacks on America are also committed by non-Muslim, American Christian White guys (even though McVeigh was basically an atheist). Now, we know for sure that Davis was right, and, per usual, that the HAMAS financier, CAIR Action Network was lying.
A big story in the news today is that a senior ABC News reporter was a mole for the FBI, according to a just released classified FBI memo from the 1990s. But the far more important revelation in the the memo is that it confirms that the FBI and ABC News believed the Oklahoma City bombing might be the work of Iraqi intelligence working for Saddam Hussein and that Saudi Arabia warned about this same fact.

Family Security Matters
Nearly a decade after the attacks of 9/11, Americans remain terribly confused as to the nature of the terror threats we face. A jarring collection of disparate daily events appears to make little overall sense. Here at home, individual terrorists often claim to be doing “Allah’s will.” Some have shadowy connections to both terror groups and states. Overseas, we are trying to stabilize an Afghan government that is apparently intent upon making deals with the Taliban, the very group that gave training and sanctuary to the 9/11 attackers, and that promotes terrorism today.
In Iraq, an extraordinarily swift takedown of the Iraqi regime was unfortunately followed by three years of confused counterinsurgency efforts. Only after President Bush and General Petraeus changed strategy did we manage to defeat a terrorist movement that was supported by Syria, Saudi Arabia and Iran, often allied with ex-Saddam agents. Its savage brutality against fellow Muslims finally turned large swaths of Iraqi society toward an alliance with the Iraqi government and US forces.

On January 31/2011, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei posted this statement on his website: “there is no doubt that based on realities envisioned by God, a new Middle East will be formed and this Middle East will be an Islamic Middle East.”

Anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr is calling the U.S., Israel, and Great Britain “common enemies” against Iraq.
In his first speech in Iraq since four years of self-imposed exile in Iran, he urged his Shiite followers to resist what he called ‘the occupiers’ by all means.
The radical cleric told the crowd of thousands to “reject America” and urged his followers to “target only the occupier with all means of resistance.”
He said Iraqis should not kill Iraqis.
Al-Sadr heads Iraq’s most feared militia, whose gunmen have battled American troops and Iraqi forces.
He also heads an organized political movement and is an influential figure in Iraqi politics.
The 37-year-old cleric’s support was crucial in giving Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki a second term.
Iraqi security forces stormed a Baghdad church where militants had taken an entire congregation hostage for four hours, leaving at least 52 people dead, including a priest, Iraqi officials said Monday.
It was not immediately clear whether the hostages died at the hands of the attackers or during the rescue late on Sunday night in an affluent neighborhood of the capital.
The incident began when militants wearing suicide vests and armed with grenades attacked the Iraqi stock exchange at dusk Sunday before turning their attention to the nearby Our Lady of Deliverance church – one of Baghdad’s main Catholic places of worship – taking about 120 Christians hostage.
