Weiner’s ‘Sexting’ Revelations Miss the Real Juicy Stuff: Huma’s Muslim Brotherhood Connections

Family Security Matters

In 8,000 words, the paper “of record” could find no room to mention Abedin’s  far more significant scandal in her own right. I refer to Abedin’s extensively  documented familial and professional ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

These ties start with Abedin’s parents, who were recruited by Abdullah Omar  Naseef, a leading Muslim Brotherhood figure and later financier of the al-Qaida  terror network, to run a Saudi-supported think tank in Jeddah. The think tank  produces a publication called the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs.

Having studied the inter-relationships among the Abedin family, the Saudi  government and the Brotherhood in depth, former federal prosecutor Andrew C.  McCarthy explains the academic concept of “Muslim minority  affairs” – which, in effect, constitute the Saudi-funded, Brotherhood-supervised  Abedin family business – as “shorthand for a long-term, high-priority policy to  spread Islam until, finally, it comes to dominate the non-Islamic nations of the  world.”

To be sure, this is a giant red flag over the background of someone whom Van  Meter describes as the secretary of state’s “senior adviser.”

Meanwhile, he writes, “Clinton is a mother figure to Huma.” Bill officiated  at the Abedin-Weiner wedding. How can anyone with insight into Abedin’s  jihad-network connections – which includes her own long association with jihad  financier Naseef – not wonder whether Muslim Brotherhood influence subverted the  secretary of state’s policy-making during the “Arab Spring”? A less superficial  investigation of the Abedin-Clinton relationship might help explain why the U.S.  calamitously supports Muslim Brotherhood efforts to come to power across the  Middle East.

As Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., discovered last summer, however, asking a  responsible question about this apparent national security scandal is taboo. We  finally accept that Alger Hiss was a Soviet agent executing Communist strategy  through the secretary of state’s office in the 1940s, but we ignore evidence of  global Islamic influence inside the U.S. government today. We find ourselves  benumbed by sex-scandal details – the ultimate diversion from truly grave issues  of fitness for office.

The fact is, if Abedin’s Muslim Brotherhood connections compromised the  secretary of state, they would compromise her husband’s mayoral run in New York  City – and, come to think of it, her “mother figure’s” run for the White  House.

Update: Hillary, Benghazi & Huma

Family Security Matters

Readers of Aaron Klein’s latest piecing together of the  Benghazi-Syria arms puzzle will take special notice of the role that former  Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appears to have played in pushing the policy  to arm the jihad front fighting Assad.

It was the New York Times in February that highlighted Clinton’s “activist”  plan to “vet the [Syrian] rebel groups and train fighters, who would be supplied  with weapons.” In essence, this was just Libya Redux. In Libya, of course, any  supposed figleaf “vetting” process failed to stop the US and NATO from both  arming and militarily enabling the victory of jihad forces over the anti-jihad  Qaddafi — a red-line-crossing I think of as Uncle Sam joining the jihad. “Our”  jihadis in Libya were actually led by senior members of “al Qaeda” in Europe and  the Med, with close, demonstrable links to the perpetrators of the  catastrophic jihad attacks on London, Madrid, Tunisia and Casablanca — as  John Rosenthal lays out in his shocking, dot-connecting new book The Jihadist Plot: The Untold Story  of Al-Qaeda and the Libyan Rebellion.

Hillary’s Syria plan, according to the paper, was rebuffed by the Obama White  House. Last week, however, Klein points out, the Times reported that a secret  plan that sounds like Clinton’s has been implemented by the CIA to arm “rebels”  in Syria in fits, starts and escalation since early 2012. The US plan involves  Turkey, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi  Arabia, Croatia and probably other unsavories.

New Campaign against Rep. Bachmann for Anti-Brotherhood Stance

Family Security Matters

People for the American Way (PFAW)  has launched a new campaign against Representative Michele Bachmann (R-MN), who,  after her recent re-election to Congress, has been re-appointed to the House  Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).

A PFAW-sponsored petition  with 178,000 signatures is to be presented to House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH)  on Monday 21 January 2012 to protest Bachmann’s HPSCI appointment.

Citing what PFAW calls “ugly  Islamophobic fear mongering,” the petition decries what it alleges are  Bachmann’s “unfounded  and irresponsible attacks on dedicated public servants.”

Obama’s Ties To The Muslim Brotherhood

Western Journalism

We hear the phrase bandied about that our government has been “infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood.”

That those who have openly called for the destruction of the United States are embedded in our government.

It sounds like something out of a spy novel.

But they say truth is stranger than fiction.

Bill and Hillary and Huma and Anthony

American Thinker

As  Bill Clinton once again takes center stage at the Democratic  National Convention, let’s amuse ourselves by screening the vilest soap  opera in American history: Bill and Hillary and Huma and  Anthony.

This  one’s got it all: two sham marriages, sexual perversions, and national treachery  at the highest level.  Naturally, the “mainstream media” refuses to inform  you of it, but that’s why I’m here.

Huma Abedin’s Muslim Minority Affairs: Not Just a Journal

Family Security Matters

“Assimilation is a crime against humanity.” So  said Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Islamic supremacist who is both prime  minister of Turkey and a close chum of President Obama.

The assertion ought to be infamous. But this is, after all, Islam we  are talking about – meaning, we are not talking about it.

You won’t read it in the American media, nor will you hear it from our  bipartisan Beltway profiles in courage. Both the Obama Left and the Republican  establishment are deeply invested in the fantasy that Erdogan, like Islam  itself, is our moderate ally – ironic, given that Erdogan himself is profoundly  offended at the very suggestion that there is such a thing as “moderate  Islam.” Yup, what you have been told is the plinth on which American Middle East  policy rests, is, according to Erdogan, not only a house-of-cards but:

… an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam.  Islam is Islam, and that’s it.

Huma Abedin and Security Clearances

American Thinker

It  is still unclear whether Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s closest aide, has been  properly vetted or not.  This issue rose to prominence after Michele  Bachmann and four other congressional representatives expressed concerns about  Huma’s family’s longstanding connections to the Muslim  Brotherhood.

Barack  Obama voiced strong support  for Huma Abedin during the annual iftar dinner, but Walid Shoebat  has asserted that President Obama needs to “refute the facts [that have been  presented about Huma Abedin] and provide answers that are void of  rhetoric.”

Where is Huma Abedin’s Security Clearance Form?

The head of the Soros-funded Center for American Progress (CAP) is defending  controversial State Department official Huma Abedin, a top aide to Secretary of  State Hillary Clinton who is suspected of playing a role in Obama Administration  “engagement” with the anti-American Muslim Brotherhood.

Huma Abedin’s Brotherhood Ties Are Not Just a Family Affair

Family Security Matters

Senator John McCain’s claim that concerns about Huma Abedin are a smear based  on “a few unspecified and unsubstantiated associations” proves more  embarrassing by the day. In fact, to the extent it addressed Ms. Abedin, the letter sent to the State Department’s inspector general by  five House conservatives actually understated the case.

The letter averred that Abedin “has three family members – her late  father,  her mother and her brother – connected to Muslim Brotherhood  operatives and/or  organizations.” It turns out, however, that Abedin herself is directly  connected to Abdullah Omar Naseef, a major Muslim  Brotherhood figure involved  in the financing of al-Qaeda. Abedin worked  for a number of years at the  Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs as  assistant editor of its journal. The  IMMA was founded by Naseef, who  remained active in it for decades, overlapping  for several years with  Abedin. Naseef was also secretary general of the Muslim  World League in  Saudi Arabia, perhaps the most significant Muslim Brotherhood   organization in the world. In that connection, he founded the Rabita  Trust,  which is formally designated as a foreign terrorist organization  under American  law due to its support of al-Qaeda.

Proof that Huma Abedin Has Muslim Brotherhood Connections

American Thinker

Michele  Bachmann and four other Republican congressional representatives requested  “that no  Muslim Brotherhood-associated entity or individual [be] placed into a position  of honor or trust within the programs and operations of the Department of State  unless he or she has publicly condemned and disclaimed the previously stated  goals of the Muslim  Brotherhood.” At no time did these congressional representatives imply that  Huma Abedin, Deputy Chief of Staff for the State Department, was “part of a  nefarious conspiracy.”

Monday,  Walid Shoebat published this 37-page  booklet entitled “Proof: Huma has Ties to Muslim Brotherhood — Countless  Documents Surface” and this was followed up with Tuesday’s update that “Huma  Abedin Served on Board with Al-Qaeda  Godfather“.  Shoebat states that the latest discoveries “include but  are not limited to “[p]roof that Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Huma  Abedin served on the Board of IMMA from at least 12/02/02 – 9/24/08″ and that  “Al-Qaeda Godfather Abdullah Omar Naseef served on IMMA’s Advisory Board from at  least 12/02/02 – 12/03/03.”

Is  this not sufficient to vindicate Michele Bachmann’s very reasonable  concerns?
