Via The Examiner:

A showdown is developing between a sizable number of Connecticut state police officers and the politicians who passed into law highly restrictive gun control, gun bans, and bans on high capacity magazines.

Gun rights legal expert and activist David Hardy reported Friday that 250 law enforcement officers in Connecticut have signed an open letter stating that they will not enforce the new anti-gun and magazine laws, which they consider to be a violation of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

A major news story on these developments is due to be published soon, but Hardy received an advanced notice via email from Tyler Jackson, the head of the Connecticut Peace Officers Association, the organization that sent the open letter.

  1. Take this report with a grain of salt until something Official is said by Statement of an Authorized Spokesperson or “leader” (if such a thing exists in Connecticut). Too much satire was written and passed around and nothing as of this moment has been substantiated as true.
Do not Stand Down, until media news is awash with Official Releases.

    • I’m reading mixed reports……some are saying they won’t enforce the laws while others say they can’t wait to kick down the front door.

      • Too many things going on:
They cannot find illegal aliens but they think that they can find guns.
By further attacking Constitutional Rights, the State is only thinking of lording it over gun owners, and not considering the droves of armed Americans that will enter Connecticut by road, on foot along state borders, by water of Long Island Sound.
Whom, exactly, will be the parties and persons, that will initiate any action, and be held liable for property damage, protracted serious physical injuries, and deaths?
If a door-to-door action occurs, it may, possibly, work for the first two or three houses, then every gun will be trained on the enemy forces entering homes. Kevlar can only take so many hits until it is worthless, and militias already know about Teflon frying pan coating liquid applied to projectiles short of the ogive will defeat body armor. MRAPs can be stopped by attacking undercarriage components and air intakes with brake fluid and bleach which makes toxic smoke and burns lungs, and chokes engines. Militias already know this.
Tactics designed to instill fear to gain compliance, can be turned into terror against families of those attacking the citizens. Militias already know this, so the question becomes, how damned stupid, is the leadership of Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Missouri, and how brazen are the police, as their homes and families would be in dire straits?

Its nice to see that “SOME” elected officials are taking their oaths of office seriously, because OBVIOUSLY the Politicians in Connecticut have NOT!
